The Memorial Day Parade, hosted by the Tri-Vets of Hammonton, will begin at 10:30am on Monday, May 30th. The parade route runs from Egg Harbor Road down Bellevue Avenue to Veterans Memorial Park where the ceremony will take place after the parade. Deputy Mayor Tom Gribbin will be the guest speaker among other distinguished guests.
On Memorial Day we’ll have an impressive collection of military uniforms on display, as well as several binders of veteran servicemen from Hammonton who served in the armed forces and made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.
Stop by and see if we have a picture of your friends or relatives. Some of the photos are not identified, and we would be thrilled if visitors could help us add a name to these unidentified servicemen.
The museum will be open on Memorial Day, May 30th, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
Regular museum hours are Tuesdays from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. We are also excited to announce that starting on Sat, June 4th, the museum will also be open EVERY Saturday from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM.
Funding has been made possible in part by the New Jersey Historical Commission, a division of Cultural Affairs within the Department of State, through funds administered by the Atlantic County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs.
