If you like watching Antiques Roadshow, you’ll want to attend our June 2nd meeting!
Bruce Dooley from Elwood Antiques will be on hand to provide oral appraisals on your “Antiques from Home,” which means items brought in by our members. We’re skipping our usual business meeting to have a full two hours for the program.
Here are the guidelines for the evening:
• Members can bring one or two items from home to be appraised and discussed.
• You’re responsible for bringing the items into the Canoe Club.
• The order of appraisals will be according to your registration time (first come, first served).
• Doors will open at 6:15 PM for registration.
• There is no guarantee that we’ll get to all the items, so arrive early for the best chance to have your item(s) featured in our program.
• Non-members who join that evening can bring items for appraisal. Membership is $20 for an individual, or $30 for a family membership.
We look forward to seeing all you ‘antique lovers’ as you join us for a fun event, socialize with friends, enjoy homemade refreshments, and learn about awesome antiques.
