Hammonton, NJ, March 29, 2019. The Historical Society of Hammonton invites the public to a free community program to be held Thursday October 3rd 2019, 8:00 PM at the Canoe Club Lake Park, Hammonton. Programs are free, provided as a service to the community. There is no requirement to be a member of HSH to attend. The program is videoed and a copy is placed in our archives.
Speaker for the evening will be Albert Rehmann 4th. Albert resides in Hammonton and is in the senior class of St. Augustine Prep. He will show a Power Point Presentation that will honor the memory of his grandfather who served with honor in the Pacific Theater of WW 2. Returning home following the war Mr. Rehmann accepted a position as driver salesman for a leading bread company that became his lifetime occupation. He became a fixture in the community, a different time when milk was at your door each morning, a bread and laundry truck stopping during the week and the driver salesman becoming a friend.
Please join us to hear his story.
